• Heavy Duty Lathe Machine Our range of light duty lathe machines in manufactured from quality-tested raw material. Known for its quality, durability, corrosion resistance and others, these finds applications in various automobile, electrical industries. We also meet customized requirement for our clients benefit. Bed in made from 25 grade cast iron and the bed ways are flame hardened up to 400BHN and grinding is done to meet the accuracy required. Bed casting are rough machined before being hardened & precision ground. The bed is heavily web bed and cross based to prevent any deflection. The inverted “V” type slide ways are meant to retain accurate travel of the carriage and tail stock. It is strictly inspected with micro levels, hardness tester and straight edge. Boring of headstock is done precisely on boring machine and fitted with hardened and ground spindle made from alloy stell. The head stock is cone pulley type and the main spindle runs in accurate taper roller bearings. Back gear is fitted under the main spindle and it can be engaged or disengaged by means of a lever. Eight spindle speeds are obtained in machines of light duty. Saddle is mounted on invented “v” type and flat ways of the bed having long bearing surface of stability. The saddle carries a cross slide and the compound slide. The compound slide is pivoted on the pross slide with a graduated swivel base and will swivel to any angle. Apron is totally enclosed oil bath system with lever type arrangement for automatic feeds. Surface, tailstocks and compound screws are fitted with gun metal nuts, moreover gun metal bushing are used where ever required. Tail stock has long bearing on bed and base is adjustable. It is fitted with hardened and gound spindle and with quick locking device. The spindle is bore to morse taper no.3 in light duty. All graduated dial are made of gun metal.
